Sergey Uryvaev (Renuka) was born in Oranienbaum, near St. Petersburg. In his childhood, he loved to rank Soviet postcards by their aesthetic perfection.

In 2007, he was nominated for the Kandinsky Prize in the "Young Artist of the Year" category.
From 2011 to 2014, he worked on an experimental video art course called "Visual Anthropology" at the University of Technology and Design.

From 2012 to 2024, he organized several solo and group exhibitions and curated student work screenings. He has been actively interested in Indian culture and spiritual practices, visiting ashrams and retreat centers.

In 2015, he founded the artistic movement "100 Eggsism," focused on social responsibility in the artistic process and the ecology of the surrounding environment.

He is currently working on the development of this movement in architecture and documentary filmmaking.
